Vote for my cousin's new film -- "Day Off"

October 22, 2007 by Josh Harvey

On Saturday, October 13, Apple Computers (the iPod, Mac people) posted a top-secret list of elements -- special props, dialogue, settings, etc -- that high school and college filmmakers had to incorporate into a short film.  The amateur filmmakers had 24 hours to write, cast, shoot, edit and score a 3-minute film and submit it to the Apple website.

My cousin Jake Wasserman and his friend Kyle Shim, decided to enter the contest.  If you've seen either of the , you've seen Kyle and Jake's work.  Anyway, Jake and Kyle came up with , which is a marvel to watch. to see " ."

Now that all the films have been sent to Apple, it's time for the people to pick their favorite films.  The 25 entries with the highest rating on November 9 at 12:00 a.m. EST will be screened by industry professionals, including Barry Sonnenfeld, James Mangold, and Nora Ephron.

If "Day Off" is the biggest hit with either the public or the pros, Jake and Kyle will each receive a MacBook Pro, Final Cut Studio 2, Logic Studio, and Shake.

So, if you would be so kind, take a minute to support Jake and Kyle by voting for . to vote for " ."
