Our first fashion show is a wrap!

November 18, 2007 by Josh Harvey

We Storyvillains wanted to say a quick thank you to everyone who came out to the fashion show and afterparty Friday night. Because of you, we SOLD OUT the Manship Theatre, which is pretty impressive considering Storyville is only 10 months old.  Together, we also raised over $500 for the Capital Area Alliance for the Homeless.

On behalf of all of us Storyvillains, SPECIAL THANKS to all the models, their families, the designers Robot Circus, the Trumpetocalls, Ray Hudson & Riverside Railway, DJ Otto, Amy Dyess, Danny Lachman, Cody Gautreaux, Jude Law, Loui Jason LeRoy, Brad Baudot, Kip Holden, Drew Dean, Eutopia Salon, the Manship Theatre and Shaw Center staff, Randy Nichols & the Capital Area Alliance for the Homeless staff, Purple Monkey (great live screenprinting show at the afterparty), UPS Store, Avoyelle's, 225, The Reveille, Jim Engster, Cherry Baton Rouge, LSU University Relations, the Advocate and everyone else who made our first-ever fashion show so special.

We're already talking to Manship about booking a date for next year's show. We'll let you know when the date goes final. This year's show was good, and next year's show is going to be even better!
