Storyville Baton Rouge survives, but is still without power (Friday)

September 2, 2008 by Josh Harvey

Storyville Baton Rouge got roughed up yesterday by Gustav, but we'll be back open as soon as possible.

Right now, the major concern is the two downed trees in front of the shop (one of which are leaning on the power lines).  Other damage to the shop includes the loss of Gabriel's garden, some dislodged shingles, and a few cracked window panes (but nothing we can't bounce back from). Power is still out at the shop and in the upstairs apartments.

Stay tuned and we'll let you know as soon as the Baton Rouge shop re-opens.  The Austin shop is running normal business hours.  If you have any questions or need anything from us, call the Austin shop at (512) 478-0000 .

Wednesday, September 3 Update

The power is still out in the Baton Rouge shop, so we will not be open today.  As soon as the power comes back on, we'll resume normal hours.

Thursday, September 4 Update

The power is still out, so Storyville BR is still closed.  We'll let you know when the power comes back on.

Friday, September 5 Update

Still no power, so the Chimes Street shop remains closed.  The latest we hear about the power is that it will be back in the next few days and early next week at the latest.
