Voodoo, Seinfeld, Superbowl XLIV & a little wedding in Thibodaux

November 3, 2009 by Natalie Naquin Harvey

A lot has been going on here at Storyville over the past month or so, which is why y'all have seen a lag in blog entries.  It's not because nothing is happening; it's quite the opposite.  So I thought I'd bring everyone up to date.

First, Josh and I got hitched on Saturday, Oct. 17 , in Thibodaux, La .  We danced to the tunes of the Michael Foster Project all night.  Some of us had a little too much fun (you know who you are).  So I guess that means I'll be around for a while.

This past weekend, you may have seen Storyville at Voodoo Fest in City Park .  The festival got off to a muddy start, with rain Friday evening and temperatures dropping.  But that made way for a beautiful weekend!  I was there Saturday, and the costumes were fantastic.  People-watching is so much fun when said people are dressed as ostriches, zombies and the entire cast of Seinfeld .  I'm just glad I wore rainboots to navigate the muddy gloop-fest around the port-o-lets.

Also, I don't know if you've heard this or not, but the New Orleans Saints are 7-0.  We've come a long way, Who Dat Nation.  We may be a little presumptuous here at Storyville, but Elizabeth created a kickass design the other day that I'm sure you'll like.  Check it out:
